That’s a great sketchbook Harry! Seeing so many of your collected moments together like this is interesting. And I really like the looseness of them all, including the process.
Thank you, Lou! This whole process started when I was teaching full time. I'd make these drawings on the paper in my breast pocket that I used for jotting down written notes regarding various teaching things that I'd have to remember during the day. Students and teachers would always ask for things, little things that I'd have to look into, and I found it best to just jot down the requests and take care of them later. The same paper was used to make little drawings during my breaks and lunch hours. The habit stuck, and grew, over a number of decades :).
Fantastic post! I really enjoyed peeking inside your sketchbook and learning about your process.
Thank you, Michelle...so glad you enjoyed it! :)
Always nice to see these sketches
Thanks, Doug!
Looks great! Thanks for the tour!
Thanks, Clint!
You are a master, Harry. Always a pleasure to see your work and now to get a glimpse into your process!
Thank you, Linda! I'm glad you enjoyed the video :)

It’s a good habit. My mind is basically contained in a neverending pile of crumpled Post-It Notes.
ahhh...good comparison! My method too was pretty much exactly like a Post-it note, just a whole bunch on one folded up piece of paper in my pocket.
Thank you, Doug!
