Your posts are great. How you make the frames would be easier to visualize and duplicate, step by step, with a YouTube video, Harry. It isn't clear how the inner support, the pine you use to actually mount the painting, is secured to the ash frame. Looked maybe glued, but a brad nail gun would do the trick as well.
True...and You Tube videos are great, especially the instructional ones. I don't think that most of the things I will be posting will be very instructional....too many steps to document, and I'm getting lazy with video editing. At best, I'll likely be just giving some hints about how the thing is done. The corners of the ash frame are glued, and then nail-gunned to the inner pine frame. Thanks very much for your feedback...I appreciate it!
So far what I really like about Substack is that any newsletter that is sent to one's mail list is still 'active' on my page for anyone else to read. That is a BIG plus in my book. This provides more incentive to put more energy into the writings.
