I taught art for 26 years and have painted daily for more than 45 years. My photo essays don’t really try to teach technique, but they explore issues of motivation, method, and creative thinking behind the work. I’ll show you the paintings and drawings I’m working on and lay out some of the musings about the work. I live in a beautiful, quiet, rural area of Southern Ontario, Canada, and am out painting and drawing the landscape most days.
